About the Author
Growing up just outside of Albany, Western Australia, 26 year old Brooke is more than just a budding author!
Having moved to Perth to study music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), she still lives in the capital of WA with her partner Ben.
On top of writing, she works full time for a kitchen design company, is involved on a local sports committee, manages and sings in a band, and enjoys a variety of hobbies, especially the creative or outdoorsy ones!
“I have always loved reading, which I think stems from my love of a good story. Whether that story is told in a song, a book, or face to face, I love hearing them and I love telling them.
When I was younger I stuck to short stories and song writing, not quite having the patience or the experience to put my countless ideas onto paper in a way people would understand.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve gained a little more patience, and that allowed me to finally sit down and tell a story I was passionate about.”
